Description
A nice low key "old school" yidaki made and painted by the wife of master craftsman, Djalu Gurruwiwi. Good solid stick with good back pressure for an instrument in the key of C and very easy transition to the toot. Natural bore throughout, just a slight finishing at the distal end. This yidaki is great for playing the older, slower style rhythms and produces clear vocals with little effort but can still be pushed a bit harder to play the more modern, slightly faster styles.
